OCC offers more than 135 academic and career programs, including one of the nation's largest and most acclaimed public nautical programs, which is located at the College's . Nearly half of the students are enrolled in one of OCC's Career and Technical Education programs, with an average annual enrollment of 23,740 students.
Part of the Coast Community College District, OCC offers fall, winter, spring, and summer classes and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Newly Admitted International Students
Now that you are accepted to 黑料社区 Coast, let's get ready for your journey at Coast.
In your acceptance email, you should have received a link to join the New Student Checklist in Canvas. This invitation will also be sent to your OCC email address. Please join it and work through all the steps in the modules in the Canvas system.

- Join the Canvas New Student Checklist and work through all the steps in the modules. There is a link to the checklist in your acceptance email and the invitation to the Canvas New Student Checklist will also be sent to your OCC email address.

- Apply for your F-1 Visa
- The New Student Checklist has instructions on how to receive your I-20 and apply for your F1 visa. Click on the semesters above for which you have been accepted to view the New Student Checklist. For more detailed information about applying for visa, refer to the Visa Application Information page.
- You can also view our with detailed instructions on the F1 visa application process. We will review each step, tips, and answer any questions you have about the visa application process and planning during a global pandemic.
- Once you have your visa, please check it for errors and review the documents required for traveling to the U.S.

- Purchase your health insurance upon your arrival

- Forward your acceptance letter to your current school and request them to release your SEVIS record to OCC by the first day of school. You will receive your I-20 within 2-3 weeks after school starts.

IEC English-language courses are specially designed to help students develop the academic and English skills needed to succeed in the American university classroom. Our curriculum focuses on writing research papers, preparing and giving presentations, and understanding lectures. After completing IEC’s courses, students are prepared to begin their academic journey at or transfer to other college or university of their choice.

Live and Learn like a local for a Month Abroad
OCC faculty led programs are about a month long and taught during the summer term. They are "open enrollment", which means even if you are new to OCC, already graduated, or are attending a different school you can still join us, as long as you are over 18 years old. We welcome non-traditional students, first generation college students, minority students, lifelong learners & first time travelers. You can use your financial aid and many scholarships are available.
