How to Meet with an Academic Counseling or F-1 Advisor
Review the F-1 International Student Guides to see if you can find the information you are looking for. If your answer is not there, please determine if you should speak with your assigned F-1 Advisor or Academic Counselor. You must log in with your OCC username and password to with us. For faster service, you may also Email GEC.
- If your advisor is unavailable, we highly recommend you to email your assigned advisor directly or email us at occinternational@cccd.edu.
- If you wish to speak to a different advisor due to personal reason, please email us at occinternational@cccd.edu.

Please be sure to select your assigned advisor when scheduling your online appointment to avoid unnecessary administrative delays. For example: if Anderson is your Last Name, you must select Leonmark Chong as your advisor.

- I-20 Extension letter (if your I-20 ends in Winter/Spring and you will transfer out for Fall, you do not need to extend your I-20).

Drop-In with Academic Counselor
